How We Helped Berlin Grow

Originally called “Wirtschaftsfreiheit Berlin,” Rising conceptualized a talent attraction project for Berlin Partner in 2018 to:

• Show Berlin as the city for international professionals
• Communicate with and facilitate support for potential international professionals 
• Appeal to people from countries with fewer personal freedoms

In 2019 we successfully launched Because Berlin, a beautifully designed English language website focused on human stories and offering a range of services, including a confidential digital welcome service managed by the Rising team.

Rising created a social media strategy to further spread Because Berlin’s messages and has been filling four channels with inspiring content about the city ever since.

Starting in 2020, Rising created a new concept for communicating with Berlin’s international community. We created, organized and moderated a variety of Town Hall Call events, with themes such as “BerlinHelpsExpats” in April to #DiversityinBerlin in December.
